Privacy policy

  1. Data controller
This website is the responsibility of Blue Healthcare, S.L.U., with registered office at Avenida de Alberto Alcocer, 7, bajo – 28036 Madrid, Spain, and registered in the Madrid Commercial Registry, volume 38,102, folio 90, sheet number M-678177, first entry (hereinafter, Blue Healthcare).
Contact details of the Data Protection Officer: dpo@bluehc.es.
  2. Purpose of this document
Blue Healthcare respects the privacy rights of its Users and recognises the importance of protecting the personal data that Blue Healthcare collects about them.

The purpose of this document is to inform website Users about the processing of personal data carried out on this website.

  3. Data collected through this website
    • What data is processed
As a general rule, Blue Healthcare collects data from website Users in 2 ways:
      • IP address. The IP address is a code that identifies the User's internet connection at a given moment. Only the User's internet access provider can identify the subscriber to whom an IP address was assigned at a given moment.
Owing to the very nature of the server that supports this website, the User's IP address is recorded automatically together with the date and time of access.
      • Cookies and similar technologies. These are files that are downloaded to the User's browser and that can subsequently be read by the website. Cookies thus enable various functions, such as recognising a User who has previously visited the website and analysing use of the website in order to improve it. For further information about the use of cookies, please see our Cookie policy.
    • What this data is used for
This data is used solely to manage normal use of the website and to carry out statistical analysis of how the website is used.
    • Recipients of the data
Blue Healthcare does not disclose this information to any third party, unless required to do so by current legislation (for example, an official request in the course of a police investigation) or where the recipients are suppliers providing services to Blue Healthcare for the maintenance and management of this website.
    • Lawfulness of processing
The legal basis that legitimises the processing of the IP address is the technological necessity of making the website available.
    • Retention period
IP addresses will be retained for a period of 1 month. Cookie information will be retained for a maximum period of 2 years.
  4. What rights Users have and how to exercise them
Data protection legislation guarantees Users the following rights:
Access: allows the User to find out what information is held, where it was obtained, to whom it has been disclosed and for what purposes it has been processed.
Rectification: allows the User to correct any inaccurate or out-of-date data.
Erasure: allows the User to have their data no longer processed.
Objection: allows the User to have their data no longer used for a specific purpose.
Restriction: allows the User to restrict the processing of their data, while keeping it stored for a subsequent purpose.
Portability: allows the User to obtain a copy of their data in electronic format and, in certain circumstances, to request that it be transmitted to another service provider. This applies only to automated processing carried out with the User's consent or for the performance of a contract.
Withdrawal of consent: allows the User to withdraw any consent they may have given for the processing of their data.

However, in order to exercise these rights, it must be possible to link the data processed by Blue Healthcare with the identity of the User making the request.

In principle, Blue Healthcare cannot establish this link with any of the data it processes, unless the User is able to provide documentation enabling their identification (for example, a certificate from their internet access provider stating the IP address assigned to the User on a specific date and at a specific time). Rights may be exercised by post to the address indicated above or by email to derechosrgpd@bluehc.es, providing all the information necessary for identification.

Should Users wish to obtain further information on this matter or consider that their right to data protection has been infringed, they may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or our Data Protection Officer (dpo@bluehc.es).

  5. Other processing of personal data
    • Cookies and similar technologies
Blue Healthcare uses cookies and other similar mechanisms for storing and retrieving data on terminal equipment (hereinafter, cookies).
Cookies are files that are downloaded to the User's browser and that can subsequently be read by Blue Healthcare. Cookies thus enable various functions, such as recognising a User who has previously visited the website and analysing use of the web service in order to improve it.
However, it is not possible to determine the User's identity from the cookies used by the entity, unless the User provides additional information by other means and this can be linked to the cookies they have downloaded.
For further information, please see the Cookie policy.

6. Sending of commercial communications

BLUE HEALTHCARE informs the User that commercial communications requested by the User, or where the User has not objected to receiving them by ticking the corresponding boxes on the forms, will be sent using the tool [Mailchimp, managed by the company The Rocket Science Group LLC], whose servers are located in the United States. Your data may therefore be transferred outside the European Economic Area. However, we inform you that these entities offer appropriate data protection safeguards through their adherence to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has declared to provide an adequate level of protection, or through the signing of the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

The tool used to send commercial communications by email includes links and tiny transparent images that are associated with your email address. In this way, when one of these images is downloaded or the links contained in the email are accessed, BLUE HEALTHCARE can determine, for statistical purposes, whether the email has been opened or whether any link in it has been accessed. You can prevent these uses by configuring your email client or program to prevent the automatic downloading of images, and by not accessing the links included in the emails you receive.
In every communication, the User may object to receiving this type of information through the specific unsubscribe mechanisms, and may also, where applicable, exercise their right to withdraw consent, object or request erasure.

7. Further information

If the User has any questions about the information set out in our Privacy Policy, they may send an email to: dpo@bluehc.es.
